AtoZ Connect was created to help school groups accomplish the daunting task of creating their directory.​

Established in 2009, AtoZ Connect is a fast-growing company based in Rockville, Maryland. We are a small team of dedicated people who are big on serving the needs of parent-teacher and community groups with our online directory-creation software and mobile directory app.

Meet Our Founder

Mike Schoen

As a father of three school-aged daughters, Mike Schoen has over 14 years of experience in the parent world. Even before becoming a father and launching AtoZ Directories, now AtoZ Connect, Mike built several other companies in the education sphere all focused on simplifying the life of parents and helping schools earn much needed funds. Mike’s first company OCM (www.ocm.com) was founded in 1988 and is still around today working with over 1,000 universities across the country.

As the VP of School Services at PTO Today, Mike was instrumental in creating programs to facilitate the smooth functioning of parent groups around the country. Now as the President of AtoZ Connect, Mike leverages his expertise as both a father and a business leader in the education sphere to connect families and strengthen communities with both print and digital solutions for creating school and neighborhood directories.

Schools and associations working with Mike and his team vouch for the level of customer service they receive. AtoZ Connect is focused on providing schools, families and community groups a directory experience, far exceeding anything they currently have in place!

Meet Our Team

Marcelo Ramagem

Director of Technology

Marcelo spent his formative years between Brazil and The United States and still maintains close ties to his heritage. Marcelo began coding as a hobby while he was a business owner. Now he brings his 10+ years of experience as a business owner and his coding chops to the table as Director of Technology at AtoZ Directories. His bi-cultural heritage allows him to follow technology trends in the US and abroad. His love for entrepreneurship and technology has led him to pursue a Master’s in Information Management with a focus on tech development, deployment, and commercialization.​

Kevin Neitzey

Developer

Kevin grew up in Maryland, where he began working with computers as a young boy building his first PC at the age of 8 and shortly after began building websites as a hobby. Later he attended school at Frostburg State University to pursue a degree in Computer Information Systems while working to start his own screen printing business. His passion for entrepreneurship and outside-the-box thinking makes his seat at AtoZ a natural fit. In his spare time, Kevin enjoys being with friends out on the water – boating, jet-skiing, fishing and tubing. When he isn’t working with AtoZ, Kevin is working to develop his business and stay active in the local community.

Stephanie Kempter

Director of Business Development

Aside from a brief stint in Arizona, Stephanie has called Rockville home her whole life. She pursued her love of Mass Communications and Media Studies at Towson University, thinking she would go into broadcast journalism or video production. Thankfully for AtoZ, her skills took her elsewhere. Stephanie has successfully helped to launch three business publications over the last 18 years (she was a key member of The Gazette of Politics and Business for over 16 years!), helped to launch three business award programs over the last 15 years, and become a trusted community member and “go to” person for many of the areas business leaders.
